This is not so much a unique or antique item, but it does have a slightly retro feel to it. It was originally sold by Restoration Hardware, and is no longer produced - it's not even visible on the internet! That makes us think this is from the 20th century, probably in the 1990s.
Some minor damage on the rim, but the metal inside is in great shape. Very nice contrast between the white exterior and the copper/gold inside. 8" in diameter at the top, and about 4 1/2" tall. More for fruit than candy; it would hold quite a lot of candy! But only maybe 4 apples or pears. Very classy piece.
