Take a look at this gorgeous water pitcher made by William Rogers. The specific style is Evandale 1117, but that's a bit of a misnomer because we've seen several different styles with that exact same catalog number. This one has been recently detarnished and polished, and really looks classy. 8" and 8" wide at the handle.
William Rogers manufactured these in the 1940s; this particular model features the ice guard, a lip at the top of the spout to prevent splashing, which is apparently an added feature (and the guard happens to be in fantastic shape). As a Rogers product, it is silver plated; since it is post-1898, it would have been made by International Silver, and is probably triple-plated. What a great piece to have this summer for your outdoor drinks!
