Here we have some MCM Americana for you. This is a ceramic turkey soup tureen that would of course be associated with Thanksgiving, but you don't have to limit yourself to just one holiday! We do not know the manufacturer of this; all we can find is a "Made in Taiwan" sticker on the bottom, which would lead us to believe this was made in the 1980s.
This is probably intended to be used for about a half quart of soup, or could be used as a cookie jar or maybe even a candy dish. The top of the tail is about 8" over the table, and the rest of the table is about 6" x 7". Other than some scratches where it sits on the table, this is in excellent shape; I found only one tiny chip in the paint at all! Great addition to your table!
