Here we have a solid brass trivet from the 50s-70s, when these were a very popular item in homes. It's adjustable to the size of a pot below 10" in diameter, or a dish of that size. This will keep a hot item completely off the table, while providing a shiny and decorative object for discussion until the plate/pot arrives.
One thing we noticed about these: because they will be encountering a lot of steam when pots are rested on them, they tend to collect corrosion faster. We recommend drying them thoroughly after use to prevent this from happening.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, but given that all our items were manufactured as much as 70 years ago, we sell all items on an as-is basis. We will consider accepting returns for certain products; please contact within 7 days of receipt if you wish to return an item.
