{"product_id":"small-paperweight-sundial","title":"Small Paperweight Sundial","description":"\u003cp\u003eHere is a nifty piece we found: it's a paperweight sundial, made of solid brass, with a functional dial that will tell accurate time when the gnomon (that's the thing that sticks up at the top) is pointed north.  Because of the high angle of the gnomon, this was probably manufactured in Europe; that or the manufacturer wasn't aware of the correlation between latitude and gnomon angle.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn any event, the entire piece is just under 5\" tall and the square base is 2\" wide.  It weighs about 10 ounces.  We have chosen not to detarnish this piece, because it has an antique feel to it that way.  \"LuxEs\" is engraved in the front, and detarnishing might make this imperceptable.  Hence our decision.  Please accept that there are tarnish spots and other irregularities as a result, but if you like that aged look, it's right up your alley.  Our guess is that this was made in the 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Static Frog","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50593098104930,"sku":"B0400002","price":75.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0639\/1781\/7954\/files\/20261004_204056.jpg?v=1791161683","url":"https:\/\/staticfrog.com\/products\/small-paperweight-sundial","provider":"Static Frog","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
