{"product_id":"ceramic-hen-cooker-by-taylor-ng","title":"Ceramic Hen Cooker by Taylor \u0026 Ng","description":"\u003cp\u003eHere we have a ceramic hen-shaped cooking lidded dish, manufactured by environmental Ceramics in San Francisco in 1966 under the brand name of Taylor \u0026amp; Ng.  These dishes were designed and constructed to allow one to roast a chicken in its entirety (chickens were much smaller then, remember) within the dish, then bring it over directly to the table, put it on a trivet, and server from the dish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one has no chips or cracks, but it is well worn, and there is some staining from where the lid and base meet, which after 60 years of use might be forgiven.  Some other wear marks on the crown of the hen are there too, but you can see all of these in the photos.  It is oven safe, and technically dishwasher safe, but we would not recommend it for use in the dishwasher.  Dimensions are 13\" x 9\" x 9\", but the useful area inside is more like 9\" x 7\" x 7\".  The \"ENVIRONMENTAL  CERMAICS\" stamp on the bottom is difficult to read, but you can see it is there, meaning this is authentic.  We offer it at a discount because of the wear.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Static Frog","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42841689227362,"sku":"E0410103","price":50.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0639\/1781\/7954\/files\/20260429_101713.jpg?v=1777475021","url":"https:\/\/staticfrog.com\/products\/ceramic-hen-cooker-by-taylor-ng","provider":"Static Frog","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
