Candlesticks - Homco Stacked Bulbs, Tabletop Size

Here is a great little piece of MCM decor! This pair of candlesticks is a tabletop version of a design called Stacked Bulbs, and looks a little Stanley Cup-ish, I think. They are 8" tall, solid brass, with "JAPAN" stamped on the bottom, which gives away their identity as made by either Homco or Venus, who were two major exporters of these types of objects in the 1970s.
Our sources think Homco, as that company was quite known for this design, and would have been likely to make several different sizes of this design. Because ofthe design of the holder itself, 7/8" will fit snugly, but you might be able to get 1" candles in there, and a 3/4" candle should be fairly stable (maybe add a shim). Totemo kawaii desu ne!
