this appears to be a replica made in Italy much later.  The spoon is a little worn, but generally in great condition and has no cracks or bends.  Oh, and it's about 11 1\/2\" long.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe soup ladle is a different story!  This piece DOES have the manufacturer's mark, and they were even so kind as to stamp the exact pattern number on the back.  This is a 10 1\/2\" soup ladle from the collection Majestic Rogers 1893, made by Rogers \u0026amp; in.  There is also a hand-scratched \"4112\" under that, no doubt an inventory mark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis tray is 18\" x 13\", and has four stems in the bottom that are about an inch tall.  These four pieces are more worn, which makes sense, and show what appears to be nickel underneath.  Overall the tray is in great shape, especially given other ones we've seen out there that are using a design that was common for the prior part of the century.  But more impressive is its primogeniture: this is definitely from Spaulding \u0026amp; Frost of Fremont, NH, one of the most renowned coopers in the world from 1874 to 1999: the company's stamp is prominently stamped on the underside.  It appears to be made of oak and brass, with a plastic waterproof interior liner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis style was very common in the 60s and 70s; I recall my parents having end tables with a very similar design to this bucket.  This piece has been cleaned up so that the brass handles are shiny again, and the interior liner is, as you can see in the pictures, free of any significant stains, though there are some minor scratches - nothing that compromises its integrity.  The exterior wood is generally intact, just some expected wear and scratches.  One of the grommets on the handles is missing.  The brass bands are complete and tight to the wood.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt stands 12\" tall, and has a diameter of 11\" at the top and just over 12\" on the bottom.  Weight is about 7 pounds.  And think of this: as we get ready to chips or cracks in the paint, minor staining here and there but mostly on the bottom, and some spots that were presumably from the manufacturing process.  This will make a great centerpiece, and you could certainly fill it with wrapped candy, napkins, baseballs, anything that size that will fit in it.  If you're thinking of putting baseballs in it, at least I know you read they were bought by the Lenox corp.  Because they operated for over 100 years, it's not possible to say when this particular piece was made, but it is certainly MCM.  That 1795 is a pattern number, not to charge extra for anyone whose name starts with \"C\" that buys this!).  Our estimate is that this was manufactured in the 70s, based on its appearance and the fact that it bears the Superfine label on the bottom, which indicates that the silver plating is heavier than usual.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe obtained this from an estate in one of the top 10 zip codes in the USA, so the fact that it is of such high quality does not surprise us.  Aside from a few age spots and minor scratches here and there, it is in excellent shape, and comes with the original dish that goes under it.  That dish is 10\" long and just under 6\" wide; the boat itself is 9 1\/2\" from spout to handle, and 4\" wide.  Height all together is a touch under 4\".  It's a gorgeous piece, and is sure to draw
